Fairmont Youth Market during the summer.

The Fairmont Garden puts on community workdays, where school and community members are invited to come together to work in the garden.  This helps  the community gardeners and the youth gardeners build connections.

The garden currently has a new perennial garden, five small fruit trees and a patio area, and is looking forward to improvements over the next few years, including a possible wildlife garden.

The Youth Garden receives funding from LiveWell Colorado  through Denver Urban Gardens. They have volunteers and donors from Slow Food Denver and local community members.  Students from the Art Institute of Colorado volunteer in a variety of capacities.  Some of the produce from the garden gets sold to SAME Cafe, a local donation-based restaurant.
